Christophe Van Mechelen and Roeland Vanstaen left the company. Master <strong>Herbert Felix<\/strong> becomes the new driving force behind our <strong>corporate law department<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Herbert received his law degree from the University of Ghent in 2008. He then obtained a master after master degree \"Droit et Fiscalit\u00e9 du March\u00e9 de l'Art\" at the University of Lyon III in 2009.<\/p>\n<p>He started his career in the corporate department of the independent Belgian law firm Astrea and gained further experience at Linklaters. At both firms, he advised both domestic and foreign companies in the areas of corporate and commercial law as well as private equity and M&amp;A. He then worked temporarily as legal counsel for the international auditing firm Grant Thornton, was legal counsel at the private equity department of BNPParibas and is to this day the in-house lawyer of one of the oldest entrepreneurial families in Belgium.<\/p>\n<p>By gaining experience on both the attorney, corporate and bank sides, Herbert brings unique baggage to Bannister.
